Hello!
I’m a copy consultant and tone of voice expert based in Glasgow, and I called my business Lucy Sweet Writes because I write. A LOT.
I’ve been a professional writer for 30 years, and I have the dry eyeballs and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome to prove it. I started as a gig reviewer for Melody Maker in the 90s, and since then I’ve been a journalist, columnist, author and -for the past 17 years - a copywriter.
You’d think I’d have run out of words by now, but nope. They keep on coming.
I’ve worked for charities, food and drink brands, restaurants, mobile phone providers, engineers, architects, colleges, and for a while I wrote very convincingly about cars, even though I can’t drive.
As if THAT wasn’t enough, I’m also the creator of a critically-acclaimed Substack about crap snacks and Temu terribleness called The Lucyverse.
So, if you need copywriting support from someone who really understands the written word, I’m your gal.
Now, it’s your turn to write. 👇
